With the end in mind of eliminating "follow-up fixers", the Directorate for Comptrollership (DC) led by the dynamic Director, PMGEN JOSE MA VICTOR F RAMOS, in partnership with the Information Technology Management System (ITMS), has formally launched the PNP Claims Inquiry System (PNP CIS), a system that provides a convenient means for both active and retired PNP personnel as they inquire about the status of their claims using a standard hotline and phone number, during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on November 25, 2019 held at the National Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City. The activity is graced by no less than the Officer-In-Charge of the PNP, PLTGEN ARCHIE FRANCISCO F GAMBOA, as the Guest of Honor.
Like a one-stop-shop call center, clients may call the hotline from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except during regular and non-working holidays. The system operates with Inquiry Officers (IOs) receiving queries and updating the clients on the status of their claims within 24 hours.
Through organized data collation, this fast and easy feedback mechanism is supported by diligent monitoring of documents of designated focal persons from concerned PNP units such as the PNP Retirement Benefits Admin Service (PRBS), Finance Service (FS), Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM) Directorate for Operations (DO), Directorate for nvestigation and Detective Management (DIDM), Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD), Directorate for Logistics (DL), Divisions of the Directorate for Comptrollership (DC), Regional Comptrollership Division of Police Regional Offices (RCD, PROS) and Regional Finance Service Offices (RFSOs). The system is likewise supported by Focal Persons from Pension RBS, DPRM, FS, DO, DIDM, DHRDD, DL, Divisions of DC, RCDS, and RFSOS.
